Pommard, 'Les Vauriens Hauts',  Delagrange et Fils, Cote de Beaune 2018: Didier Delagrange makes this with virtually the same techniques that he uses with the Volnay but this is more muscular, robust and brooding. It’s darker cherry profile runs onto muscular tannins and mid-palate core of dark spices. It’s ripping stuff. Grab a bottle of the Volnay too…compare the pair. Alc 13.5% Grapes: Pinot Noir
