Pomerol Chateau Nenin 1995: Château Nénin is a Bordeaux wine from the appellation Pomerol. The winery is located on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux wine region, in the commune of Pomerol in the department Gironde. As all wine produced in this appellation, Château Nenin is unclassified but the estate is estimated among the great growths of the region.
Tasting notes: Blessed with a bright colour, it develops a fruity, fresh and floral nose. On the palate it is perfectly structured and rounded, with notes of cherries and chocolate. Its tannins are rich with great length. Sometimes austere when young, it is a superb Pomerol, concentrated and sophisticated which matures gracefully. Alc 12.5% Grapes: 75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc
Note: 1995 is a good vintage. Average points: 90. Old school, traditional styled wine. The wines from Right Bank, Pomerol and St. Emilion are the best. More in wine beyond
