Château La Mission Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan, Grand Cru Classé de Graves 1996: The 1996 vintage in Bordeaux was very good and the weather was favourable with a mild winter and warm spring. The summer was hot and punctuated by light rains in September. Dry weather lasted well into October, so the grapes remained on the vines longer. Rich and firm wines were made with the wines in St-Julien and Pauillac being the pick of the vintage. Alc 13% Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot
